CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Cyndaquil readily curls up on itself. Yet this timid posture hides a spectacular defense: when it feels attacked, flames rise from its back to protect it. Its reserve and power are not opposites. The little Pokémon does not necessarily seek to impress, but its body has a fiery response when its treasured peace is threatened.

A detail worth noticing

On this Neo Genesis Cyndaquil, Fireworks shows 20 damage, but tails requires discarding an Energy attached to Cyndaquil. Quick Attack follows another pattern: 10 base damage and 20 more on heads. The two attacks give coin flips different consequences.
