CARDEX BACKGROUND

About this Pokémon form

Mega Evolution amplifies Lucario's aura enough to transform the way it fights. Driven by its combative instincts, Mega Lucario strikes enemies without mercy. This energy can be concentrated into destructive force. Aura, already associated with the species, thus becomes the driving force of an offensive frenzy here: the official portrait of this form emphasizes its power and the role instinct takes during a confrontation.

Background on this form in the video games; this card’s attacks, edition and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Mega Lucario and Mega Lucario Z use their aura differently. Z's presentation contrasts the former's destructive force with the latter's protective covering, which improves defense and agility. These properties of Z should therefore not automatically be attributed to Mega Lucario.
