CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Pidove readily shares city life. It appears in parks and squares, accustomed to humans and quick to join a gathering around food. With a Trainer, it tries its best to follow instructions, even when complicated requests exceed its abilities. Its sincerity is part of its charm, as much as its familiarity with everyday urban life.

A detail worth noticing

Pidove's forgetfulness can produce a puzzling scene. Pokémon Black 2 describes it waiting for a new instruction when it has already received one. This is not necessarily a refusal to obey: the entry emphasizes its memory's limitations.
