CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Ultra Recon Squad lets you discard up to two Ultra Beast cards from your hand and draws three cards for each card discarded this way. The draw is proportional to the resources committed to the effect. Two Ultra Beasts yield six cards, while one yields three; the discarded cards come only from your hand.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The calculation uses Ultra Beast cards discarded from the hand by this Supporter. Ultra Beasts already in the discard pile do not count as extra payment and do not retroactively increase the number of cards drawn.
