CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Team Rocket's Watchtower removes Abilities from Colorless Pokémon in play, both yours and the opponent's. The Stadium affects one Pokémon category on both sides. Despite its name, its text does not reserve this neutralisation for a particular team. It neither discards the affected Pokémon nor claims to remove their attacks.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Team Rocket's Watchtower checks the Colorless type of Pokémon in play. Belonging to Team Rocket is not a stated condition. Abilities are neutralised on both sides, so this can also affect teammates of the player who plays the Stadium.
