EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua / #4/95
Printed language: German · Pokémon
CARDEX BACKGROUND
Manectric generally avoids humans and is said to hide where lightning has already struck. Its mane releases electricity and can collect it from the atmosphere. When it enters battle, thunderclouds form above it; sparks from its coat can even start forest fires. It also sends current through its limbs to gain speed. The Pokédex thus depicts an elusive animal whose presence transforms the surrounding air and landscape.
This account describes the species in the video games. It does not describe its Trainer’s history or that of this copy, and does not identify the depicted form or sex.An isolated thundercloud may signal Manectric’s presence below, according to Pokémon Ultra Sun. The Pokédex describes it as being as fast as lightning. Pokémon Ultra Moon adds that it circulates electricity through its limbs to ease muscle pain.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
