CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Purrloin knows how to turn charm into an opportunity to steal. It lets humans lower their guard, takes their possessions and enjoys watching their reaction. Its endearing appearance is not entirely innocent. Behind this little performance is a playful, cunning Pokémon whose amusement sometimes depends directly on the annoyance it has just caused someone.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sword mentions rivalry between Purrloin and Nickit. This relationship adds a named opponent to the portrait of the little thief. The text establishes their opposition without specifying its origin: it does not support attributing cooperation or a shared adventure to them.
