CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Ledian appears mainly beneath a clear, starry sky. Accounts say it draws some energy from this light, though it also eats Berries and sleeps in grass by day. In battle, it uses four fists: each blow is modest, but a flurry becomes formidable. Its back pattern is said to be connected to stars, though the link is not understood. The Pokédex thus mixes observed habits with celestial mystery.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun notes that no one yet knows how Ledian's back pattern relates to the stars. Pokémon Sun reports that it eats Berries despite its reputation for feeding on light. Its energy source is therefore less simple than legend suggests.
