CARDEX BACKGROUND
Hitmonchan trains with the determination of a boxer aiming for the championship. Its fists strike so fast that they slice through the air and can burn with a mere graze. It can twist its punches to pierce hard material. Yet this speed has a limit: after a few minutes of combinations, it tires. The Pokédex shows a persistent fighter that must not confuse a punch's power with the ability to maintain the same pace without rest.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Shield limits Hitmonchan's rapid punching combinations to about three minutes before fatigue. Pokémon Sword says even a graze from its fists can burn. The speed that makes it strong therefore also demands careful management of effort.

Its punches slice the air. However, it seems to need a short break after fighting for three minutes.Ability
