CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Pokémon Communication shows a Pokémon from your hand and puts it into your deck. If you do, you search that deck for a Pokémon, show it, and add it to your hand before shuffling. The Item exchanges an available Pokémon card for a search in the same category without imposing a particular type or evolution stage.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The Pokémon returned to the deck does not go to the discard pile. The effect requires showing both the returned and searched cards rather than making this Pokémon exchange entirely out of sight.

Printed card effect
