CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Professor Elm's Training Method searches your deck for an Evolution card, shows it to the opponent, and adds it to your hand before shuffling. This older printing also repeats the one-Supporter-per-turn limit. It says to place the card beside the Active Pokémon during use and discard it at the end of the turn, following the printed procedure.

A detail worth noticing

Professor Elm's Training Method searches for an Evolution card without placing it directly onto a Pokémon. This printing also includes its own Supporter procedure, with placement beside the Active Pokémon followed by discarding at turn's end. Those instructions belong to the quoted text.

Printed card effect

You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card. Search your deck for an Evolution card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
