CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Snorunt lives in icy regions and feeds on snow and ice. When the season warms, it retreats into caverns among stalactites to retain the cold it needs. Groups may gather beneath large leaves. People in snowy regions also regard it as a bringer of good fortune: a home it visits is said to be destined for prosperity. Its presence thus connects a very harsh environment with a welcoming legend.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Shield presents Snorunt as capable of withstanding temperatures close to −100°C. Pokémon Alpha Sapphire reports a belief contrasting with this extreme cold: its visit is said to herald lasting happiness for a home.
