CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Paradise Resort reduces the Retreat Cost of each Psyduck in play by one Colorless Energy. The Stadium benefits both players' Psyduck rather than only the side that played it. Its effect depends on the Pokémon's name, not simply its Water type. It facilitates a possible retreat but moves no Pokémon when it takes effect.

A detail worth noticing

Paradise Resort's benefit belongs to every Psyduck present, including the opponent's. The reduction does not automatically extend to its Evolution or other Water Pokémon. It concerns only the named target's Retreat Cost.
