Team Rockets Lance

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Team Rocket's Proton can be used during your first turn even if you go first. It searches for up to three Basic Team Rocket's Pokémon, reveals them, and adds them to your hand before shuffling the deck. This permission accompanies targeted preparation: cards must meet both the stage and affiliation conditions.

A detail worth noticing

Permission to play Team Rocket's Proton on the first turn explicitly applies to the player going first. It does not change search targets: up to three Basic Team Rocket's Pokémon, destined for the hand rather than directly for the Bench.
