CARDEX BACKGROUND

About the species

Skwovet roams Galar's fields looking for Berries. It eats them so regularly that it becomes sturdier than its appearance suggests. Both cheeks serve as storage; if they are empty, it becomes anxious. The Pokédex presents it as very widespread in the region. Its movements and mood thus follow the same concern: finding enough Berries to eat and keeping some for later.

This account describes the species in the video games. It does not describe its Trainer’s history or that of this copy, and does not identify the depicted form or sex.

A detail worth noticing

According to Pokémon Sword, Skwovet becomes anxious when its two cheeks no longer contain Berries. Pokémon Shield explains why it is tougher than it looks: it eats them constantly and crosses fields to search for more.
