CARDEX BACKGROUND
About this Pokémon form
Scizor's pincers become even more imposing through Mega Evolution. They bear spikes so sharp they can pierce concrete. Once prey is caught between these weapons, Mega Scizor will not let it escape. In Pokémon X and Y, the transformation also raises its Defense and Special Defense, improving its resilience in battle.
Background on this form in the video games; this card’s attacks, edition and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
In Pokémon X and Y, its Technician Ability strengthens moves with low starting power. Bullet Punch is a useful example: this Steel-type move strikes with priority while benefiting from Mega Scizor's Ability.
