CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

In tropical regions, Bellossom may gather to dance. This dance is thought to call forth the sun, although the Pokédex presents that explanation as a hypothesis. As they move, their petals rub together and produce a melodious sound. The performance therefore combines movement and music without instruments. The group dance is accompanied by rubbing flowers, while its supposed connection to the sun remains an interpretation reported by the entries.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Bellossom's petals produce a melody as they rub together during its dance, according to Pokémon Sword. Pokémon Shield specifies that several Bellossom sometimes dance together and that this gathering may be a ritual intended to summon the sun.
