The Pokémon’s story

Nymble keeps its third pair of legs folded. When a situation becomes difficult, these limbs' strength lets it leap over nine meters. It also uses jumps in battle to avoid an attack while striking its opponent. The Pokédex thus connects a bodily detail with a way of defending itself. Its hidden legs are more than a feature of its silhouette: they enable a dodge that becomes a counterattack.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Scarlet gives Nymble a leap of over thirty feet, a little over nine meters, thanks to its third pair of legs. Pokémon Violet describes a fighting technique using this leap to dodge and attack in the same movement.
