CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Kleavor fells large trees with its crude axes. Hard stone protects its body, while its violent behavior makes encounters dangerous. In the account from Legends: Arceus, admiring these cutting tools is not enough: the observer advises fleeing if it is encountered in the wild. The fallen trees convey the scale of its strength and the caution required.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

The Legends: Arceus entry gives unusually direct advice about Kleavor: flee during a wild encounter. It connects this warning with axes capable of felling large trees and with its stone protection.
