CARDEX BACKGROUND
Crobat's four wings give it faster and quieter flight, especially after nightfall. This adaptation has a drawback: its legs have become wings, leaving it clumsy on the ground. The Pokédex also describes its need for blood to stay strong enough to fly. In the air it approaches silently; on land, the same body reveals its weakness.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later. This Crobat has only one printed attack: it deals 60 damage, Poisons the opponent's Active Pokémon, and changes Poison's rate. Between turns, four counters are placed on the target instead of one. The threat therefore continues beyond the damage number stated on the card.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
