CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Double Turbo Energy provides two Colorless Energy to the attached Pokémon, quickly paying part of an attack cost. This speed has a printed drawback: that Pokémon's attacks deal twenty less damage to opposing Pokémon before Weakness and Resistance. You gain preparation but lose some offensive power. The reduction concerns attack damage rather than Energy supplied; the two Colorless Energy remain available while the card is attached.

Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The text specifies the calculation order: the twenty-damage reduction happens before Weakness and Resistance. Two printings of Double Turbo Energy retain this penalty. Its name recalls Double Colorless Energy, but its offensive cost makes it a distinct card.
