The Pokémon’s story

Pansage lives in deep forests and is skilled at finding Berries. It readily shares them with friends without expecting a reward. A leaf grows on its head; the Pokédex credits it with easing fatigue and says Pansage offers it to weakened Pokémon. This generosity accompanies its knowledge of forest resources. In the entries, food and comfort often come from the same companion.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon White reports that Pansage gives the leaves on its head to tired Pokémon. Pokémon Y notes that it also shares the Berries it finds. These two gestures show its habit of helping those close to it with what the forest and its own body provide.
