CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Giovanni's Exile discards up to two of your Benched Pokémon with no damage counters, along with all their attached cards. The Supporter frees spaces by also abandoning resources invested in the removed companions. An injured Pokémon is ineligible, and your Active Pokémon cannot be selected. The maximum of two applies only to eligible targets on your own Bench.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Giovanni's Exile requires Benched Pokémon without any damage counters. It cannot remove an injured companion on that basis. Attached cards share the chosen Pokémon's discard destination without being recovered separately into your hand.
