Energia de Reciclagem

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Recycle Energy provides one Colorless Energy while attached. Its special effect appears when it leaves play to be discarded: instead of remaining in the discard pile, it returns to its owner's hand according to the printed text. It may therefore be used again on a later turn if attachment rules allow. The card's route matters as much as the Energy supplied: the effect targets discarding from play, not every movement into the discard pile.

A detail worth noticing

An older printing says Recycle Energy returns to the hand if put into the discard pile from play. A reprint phrases the return as a replacement for that discard. The words change, but both texts focus on its origin 'from play'.
