CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Professor Kukui draws two cards and increases your Pokémon's attack damage against the opposing Active Pokémon by twenty during this turn. The bonus is calculated before Weakness and Resistance. The Supporter combines immediate resources in hand with temporary offensive reinforcement. He does not deal that damage himself or require a particular type for your attacker.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Professor Kukui's addition concerns the opponent's Active Pokémon and lasts during the turn of use. It is calculated before Weakness and Resistance. The two cards drawn form another part of the effect without turning the bonus into a direct attack.
