About this Pokémon form

Fusion with Lunala gives Necrozma its Dawn Wings form, but the Pokédex describes a union dominated by Necrozma. Lunala no longer retains its own will and continually releases energy under its control. Behind this winged Pokémon's appearance therefore lies a relationship of forced dependence: its partner's light power is spent without that partner being able to decide to stop it.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon GO distinguishes the resources required for Necrozma's two fusions. Dawn Wings requires Lunar Fusion Energy and union with Lunala; Solar Fusion Energy is used for Dusk Mane. Choosing the form also means choosing its partner and resource.
