CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

In caverns, Sableye leads a discreet life searching for stones to eat. Its claws dig, its teeth crush, and the substances it absorbs later emerge on the surface of its body as crystals. The gems that make it so distinctive tell the story of its diet. Its mineral appearance is more than decoration: it is built from what it eats.

A detail worth noticing

The glow of Sableye’s eyes has fed an unsettling reputation. Pokémon Moon reports a belief that it steals human spirits. The text presents this idea as a fear associated with the Pokémon, rather than a confirmed fact.
