CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Buzzwole is an Ultra Beast from another world. It displays enormous muscles, though whether this gesture seeks to intimidate or win admiration is unknown. Accounts say it can destroy a truck with a single punch. The Pokédex warns that it may be dangerous here while suggesting it could be ordinary in its home world. Its spectacular appearance therefore leaves some uncertainty about its intent.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sun leaves open why Buzzwole shows its muscles. Pokémon Ultra Sun states that a creature dangerous here might be common in its own world. Its strength is described; the meaning of its pose remains unknown.
