CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Mr. Stone's Project chooses between two searches: up to two Basic Energy in your deck, or up to two in your discard pile. You reveal them and add them to your hand. The deck is shuffled only if searched, letting you choose the resources' origin without automatically combining both zones.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The two branches are alternatives rather than an addition. You do not recover two Energy from the deck and then two from the discard pile in one use; each option keeps its own ceiling.
