CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Zeraora approaches at lightning speed, then strikes its target with electrically charged claws. Even dodging is not always enough: the scattered sparks can still shock its opponent. The entries bring its speed and electrical discharge together as a single movement, as though the attack continues after it has passed. Its battle therefore does not depend solely on direct contact from its claws.

A detail worth noticing

Zeraora here has a 20-damage attack that can also Paralyze the opponent's Active Pokémon on heads. Its other attack reaches 120 damage but requires discarding an Energy attached to Zeraora. This printing contrasts uncertain disruption with a stronger strike that consumes its own resources.
