CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Viridian Forest offers both players an exchange during their own turns: discard a card from the hand to search the deck for a basic Energy. The Energy found is shown and added to the hand before shuffling the deck. Each player can use this option only once per turn and chooses whether to do so.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
This Stadium makes the search available to the opponent too. The Energy enters the hand rather than going to a Pokémon, so the effect alone is not an additional Energy attachment on the field.

Printed card effect
Once during each player’s turn, that player may discard a card from their hand. If they do, that player searches their deck for a basic Energy card, reveals it, and puts it into their hand. Then, that player shuffles their deck.Documented variants
