CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Dodrio surveys its surroundings with three heads that can look in different directions. This sometimes signals that it is ready to attack: an opponent overlooking one head risks a peck. Its body is also built to run fast and for long periods. One entry credits it with three hearts and six lungs, an anatomy that would support its great endurance. Behind this strange silhouette is therefore a tireless runner whose vigilance is shared among three gazes.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire reports that Dodrio appears to have three hearts and six lungs. Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu credits it with running at sixty kilometers per hour. These anatomical details offer a possible explanation for its endurance without removing the mystery of its three heads.
