CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Absol has long suffered from confusion between announcing a disaster and causing it. Because its appearance sometimes precedes catastrophe, humans have held it responsible. Yet the Pokédex mainly describes its ability to perceive signs of danger. The mountain-dwelling loner thus bears a reputation that turns its talent for anticipation into a reason for fear among those who encounter it.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
On Absol swsh3.5-38, its attack deals 70 damage with two Darkness Energy. The detailed record gives it neither coin flips nor a secondary effect. kodama receives the credit for this card; that number belongs to this particular printing and should not be attributed to every Absol card.
