CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Trekking Shoes looks at the top card of your deck and offers to put it into your hand. If you decline, it is discarded and you draw a card instead. The Item lets you choose between a resource already known and the next one, still unknown when you decide. It does not let you freely inspect both before choosing your preference.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Trekking Shoes does not offer both cards as simultaneous choices. You look at the first one initially; obtaining the following draw requires discarding it. The rejected card therefore does not remain on top of the deck to be recovered immediately afterward.
