CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Devolution Spray returns the highest-stage Evolution card from one of your evolved Pokémon to your hand. The devolved Pokémon cannot evolve during this turn. The Item removes one stage from the Pokémon in play without automatically recovering all its cards or letting it immediately regain that evolution during the same turn.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The restriction remains on the Pokémon after its top card is removed. You recover that Evolution into your hand, but its availability does not bypass the evolution prohibition for the current turn.
