CARDEX BACKGROUND
Pidove readily shares city life. It appears in parks and squares, accustomed to humans and quick to join a gathering around food. With a Trainer, it tries its best to follow instructions, even when complicated requests exceed its abilities. Its sincerity is part of its charm, as much as its familiarity with everyday urban life.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pidove's forgetfulness can produce a puzzling scene. Pokémon Black 2 describes it waiting for a new instruction when it has already received one. This is not necessarily a refusal to obey: the entry emphasizes its memory's limitations.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
