CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Zorua conceals its identity to protect itself. Its shyness seems to have encouraged its ability to take on the appearance of other beings, whether humans or Pokémon. This change of appearance is more than a prank intended to surprise. For this small Pokémon, it is also a way of passing through a frightening situation without directly exposing its true outline to those who might threaten it.

A detail worth noticing

Zorua No. 89 can Confuse the opponent's Active Pokémon without dealing damage through its first attack. Its second deals 30 damage but requires discarding an Energy attached to Zorua. Hitoshi Ariga illustrated this printing, where one choice applies a condition to the target and the other consumes the attacker's resource.
