CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Brock's Scouting searches your deck for either up to two Basic Pokémon or one Evolution Pokémon. You reveal the selection and put it into your hand, then shuffle. The Supporter adapts its search to starting a team or evolving it. It does not offer a free combination of both branches: their numbers and categories are defined separately by the text.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Brock's Scouting offers two alternatives: multiple Basics up to a maximum of two, or a single Evolution. The choice does not permit obtaining a Basic and an Evolution together. Recovered cards enter your hand rather than the field directly.
