CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Dubwool's wool has remarkable elasticity. Woven into a carpet, it creates a surface on which people bounce almost like on a trampoline. Its large horns might suggest defensive use, but the Pokédex says otherwise: they attract mates and are never used in battle. Between wool that cushions and rebounds weight and horns reserved for courtship, its appearance tells of two distinct purposes.

A detail worth noticing

A carpet woven from Dubwool's wool can make someone walking on it bounce, according to Pokémon Sword. Pokémon Shield adds that its imposing horns play no part in its battles: they serve only to attract a partner.
