CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Drilbur moves through soil with a technique resembling a living drill. It brings its claws together, spins its body rapidly and opens a passage. Earth that seems motionless on the surface thus conceals sustained activity. This underground ease also lets it move towards prey, turning its digging tool into a means of offensive approach.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Not all humans welcome Drilbur’s presence. Pokémon Shield states that its tunnels damage vegetable crops and earn it the hostility of many farmers. A natural behaviour for this burrower can therefore become a difficulty in fields.
