CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Miraidon resembles Cyclizar in outline, but the Pokédex describes it as much more powerful and ruthless. Its origin and way of life remain largely unknown. An old book mentions an “Iron Serpent” that may correspond to this Pokémon. The account attributes to it lightning capable of reducing the land to ashes. This power belongs to a reported tradition, rather than a confirmed observation; Miraidon’s mystery remains at the heart of both entries.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Violet cites an old book about the “Iron Serpent” and reports lightning said to have turned the land to ashes. Pokémon Scarlet remains cautious about Miraidon: despite its resemblance to Cyclizar, much about it remains unknown.
