CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Brambleghast roams arid regions. To capture prey, it spreads its head branches, then closes them around the victim. It absorbs the life energy it needs before casting the prey aside. This wandering Pokémon may also appear in enormous numbers. The Pokédex reports that, in rare cases, these gatherings end up burying an entire town: its passage then becomes much more than an isolated encounter.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Violet describes a rare phenomenon: a concentration of Brambleghast can cover an entire town. Scarlet focuses on a much closer scene, its hunt, during which the branches on its head surround prey to absorb its life energy.
