CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Sylveon forms relationships through touch. It wraps its ribbon-like feelers around its Trainer's arm to walk alongside them, or uses them to calm a quarrel. The soothing aura it emits gives these gestures particular significance. Its gentleness is more than an appearance: it can change the atmosphere of an encounter and restore calm between others.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
When Sylveon spots prey, its ribbons distract it before Sylveon pounces, the description says. Wink Wink reveals the opponent's hand; the player may discard a Supporter there and apply its effect as the attack's effect. Magical Shot deals 40 damage. This printing gives Sylveon a trick followed by a direct hit.
