CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Teammates can be played only if one of your Pokémon was Knocked Out during the opponent's last turn. You then search your deck for up to two cards and add them to your hand, then shuffle the deck. The recent loss permits a broad search without specific categories imposed on the chosen cards.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The text requires a Knock Out during the opponent's last turn, not simply a currently damaged Pokémon. The two searched cards may meet different needs because the effect prescribes no combination of categories.
