CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Beast Energy provides Colorless Energy but offers every Energy type to an Ultra Beast, one unit at a time. That Ultra Beast's attacks also gain thirty damage against the opposing Active Pokémon before Weakness and Resistance. The holder's designation determines both broader Energy access and the card's offensive bonus.

Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

A Pokémon that is not an Ultra Beast does not receive the two advantages reserved for that designation. The bonus concerns the opposing Active Pokémon rather than damage sent to Benched targets.

Printed card effect
