CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Candela gives you a two-card draw, followed by a coin flip if that draw actually supplied any cards. Heads lets you attach a Fire Energy from your discard pile to one of your Benched Pokémon. The effect can therefore combine improving your hand with powering up a Pokémon that is not in the Active Spot.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The attached Energy comes from the discard pile and must be Fire Energy. The receiving Pokémon does not have to share that type, but it must meet the requirement of being on your Bench.
