CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Tropius travels through warm regions by flapping the large leaves on its back like wings. Its persistent taste for fruit is said to have led to the appearance of the fruit now hanging from its neck. It ripens twice a year and is enjoyed by children, to whom the Pokémon may offer it. In some regions, Tropius are even raised for this harvest. Its way of flying and feeding those around it makes it a familiar presence in tropical landscapes.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Sun distinguishes the fruit of Alolan Tropius, considered sweeter than that from other regions. Pokémon Ultra Moon describes farms raising the species for this production. The fruit on its neck therefore varies by place and has an agricultural use.
