CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Turtwig has a very direct relationship with earth, water and sun. Its shell is made of hardened soil, while its body photosynthesizes in the light. Near the lakes where it lives, drinking also contributes to its protection's strength. This small silhouette thus brings together several parts of the landscape, as though its own body preserved a living portion of it.

A detail worth noticing

Turtwig mep-040 offers only one numerical attack: Razor Leaf deals 60 damage for two Grass Energy and one Colorless. Saboteri illustrated this printing. The detailed record adds neither healing nor a flip; the player invests three Energy for a direct result without an additional success condition.
