CARDEX BACKGROUND
The role of this Energy
Aurora Energy can be attached to one of your Pokémon only if you discard another card from your hand. Once attached, it provides every type of Energy, but only one Energy at a time. This versatility comes with a payment from your hand rather than several Energy being produced simultaneously by the same card.
Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The discarded card must be another card, not Aurora Energy itself. That payment does not increase the amount provided: even after paying it, Aurora Energy represents just one Energy at a time among all types.

Printed card effect
Documented variants
