About this Pokémon form

Driven away by humans frightened of their illusions, Zorua are said to have reached Hisui in search of refuge. The harsh climate and conflicts with local Pokémon nevertheless proved fatal. The story of this form says their resentment survived: their wandering souls returned in a spectral shape. Their long fur now carries the force of that bitterness, which produces the imitations they project.

A detail worth noticing

Hisuian Zorua can approach an isolated person while taking on that person's own appearance. According to its official introduction, it then seems to feed on the terror it causes: the illusion frightens the very person whose features it reproduces.
